Arnold Commentary is a Python based bot which procedurally finds and captions images in the style of an Arnold Schwarzenegger DVD commentary (if you don’t know what I’m talking about, please stop what you’re doing and go listen to the Conan DVD commentary with director John Milius and Arnold Schwarzenegger!)
The bot first selects a random movie and uses Movie_Title + ” Arnold Schwarzenegger Sceencap” as a Google Custom Image Search.
Next, it runs OCR locally using Tesseract – if more than a couple of words are detected the image is deleted and it starts over, otherwise its posted to Microsoft Azure Computer Vision API and an image description is returned (usually).
Finally, it uses ImageMagick to do the image, resizing, compositing and captioning.
Me smiling for the camera, that is great. pic.twitter.com/OASpOHpEiC

You can also send your own images to the twitter account with mentions and it will try to describe them for you!
